(More customer reviews)I purchased both the 1000mW 802.11g version and this 2000mW 802.11g/n version. This 2000mW version performs just as well as my internal wifi card that came with my laptop while the g version actually does improve signal by 5x. I have poor signal strength with this and excellent with the g. the antenna also works with the older version but adds little to no signal. It is clear to me that if you want signal strength or to connect to networks farther away than your current adapter can handle, go with the 1000mW 802.11g.
